A Matter of the Heart
This shoot wasn’t just another job – it was something personal.Rishi and Himani aren’t typical clients – they’re like family. And that’s exactly what made this pre-wedding shoot in Munich so special.
Both are brilliant astrophysicists from Mumbai, now living and working in Munich. Somewhere between stars, telescopes, and galaxies, they also found each other.
While their big wedding celebration was planned for India with their extended families, they wished for something more intimate and personal here in Germany – a celebration with close friends and lots of heart.
An elegant evening in Munich – without a rigid schedule, but full of warmth, closeness, and joyful ease.
The Visual Concept
The goal was to create an atmosphere that felt light, elegant, and full of warmth – one that made the true connection between Rishi and Himani visible.
Their Indian outfits in soft pastel tones set the tone:
Rishi wore a sherwani-inspired kurta set in blush pink and cream yellow – festive, stylish, and harmonious.
Himani looked radiant in a peach-pink ensemble with delicate floral embroidery and tiny mirror accents – graceful and luminous.
In the background, subtle fairy lights created a soft bokeh and a romantic ambiance.The overall mood: relaxed, intimate, vibrant – filled with small moments of laughter, exchanged glances, and quiet gestures.
A Solo Project with Attention to Detail
Even smaller shoots are treated like full productions at Pavelclicks – with attention to every detail. As photographer, Pavel led the creative direction, developed the visual style, managed lighting and composition, and told the story through each frame.
Lighting and space were intentionally designed to create a soft, almost dreamlike atmosphere. The flow was loosely planned, so the couple could feel comfortable, not posed – just themselves.Moments weren’t staged but allowed to unfold naturally – creating heartfelt, authentic images.
The Emotional Core
The focus wasn’t on grand gestures, but on what’s real – the closeness of two people who truly know each other and keep falling in love again and again.
This shoot reminded me why I became a photographer: not just to capture faces – but to preserve emotions.
